Fandoghi pistachio tree

fandoghi pistachio tree grows up to three meters high and has a canopy width of about 380 cm, which is the widest among other pistachio trees. Most of the fandoghi pistachio trees are found in Iran and most of these fandoghi are harvested in Kerman pistachio gardens and then in Sirjan. More than 60% of Kerman pistachio volume is hazelnut pistachio and is considered as the most important pistachio in this province.

The pistachio is three-leaf and five-leaf pistachio. The leaves are about 16 cm wide by 14 cm wide and light green.

As the blossoms turn into fruit, the pistachio is clustered on its tree. Clusters of fandoghi pistachio tree are about 13 cm high and 11 cm wide. Each cluster weighs about 53 grams and each cluster contains about 20 to 21 pistachios.

fandoghi pistachio is a kind of smiling pistachio and its pistachio is estimated at 73%. About 18% of fandoghi are closed per kilo, which is a significant amount. Usually fandoghi pistachios arrive in early September and can be harvested.
